Baroque Motifs
My friend Janis did the cute swap using the Baroque Motifs stamp set and designer series paper. This technique is called colorblocking. It is a relatively easy process almost like putting together a jigsaw puzzle. I have made several cards using this technique and have almost always been pleased w
ith the results. The Stampin' Up! color coach is a great help in choosing colors that look great together!! Tuesday, May 20, 2008
Fabulous Flowers
Groovy Guava and River Rock. This card uses the little half pearl from the Pretties Kit...I really need to break out my kit and use some of the pieces!! Monday, May 19, 2008
Butterfly and Flowers with Sparkle!

You can also see the Afternoon Tea DSP from the Occasions Mini Catalog. Remember you have until June 30th to order from the mini catalog! Maurine used two of the current In Colors Wild Wasabi and Blue Bayou. Stampin' Up! previewed the In Colors that will be in the next catalog on the cruise. You may have seen them on other blogs...I suggest that if you LOVE these colors you stock up now...We only have a couple more months to order them.

One of a Kind
a's Quarterly meeting back in January. Amy has a great group of stamper's and they came up with these fantastic projects! The first project uses the scallop notes. Class attendees will create this set of three notes. They use the Boho Blossoms punch and Blue Bayou DSP. So cute!!

This next one is a pocket card. It uses the fun Flower Fusion felt flowers. This one uses the scallop punch, corner rounder and the oval punch to create other accents. A fun project for sure!!!
This last project uses the Board Basics which are part of the On Board Promotion that is going on until May 31st. With any order of $35 you can get as many of the chipboard items at 25% off!!! It is a standing scrapbook page/frame...it is GREAT for displaying a favorite photo! You can see the Ginger Blossoms DSP but it is harder to see the Jumbo Eyelets which were set using the Crop-o-dile. The Crop-o-dile punches through the chipboard VERY easily!
Well I hope you enjoy these great projects. Let me know by Wednesday, May 21st if you can join us for the class in Marlborough, NH.
Enjoy!
Heart Felt Thanks

e you get to do your own stamping but the design and preparation is done for you!!! This is the card I design I brought to share. I actually CASE'd the layout from a card on Stamper's Showcase. It was a monochromatic card done in Bashful Blue. I decided that we needed pretty spring colors though so I changed the color sheme. I do love to use the Stampin' Sponges along the edge of the card stock layers! When done on a ripped edge the color becomes a bit more defining. Sunday, May 11, 2008
Happy Mother's Day!
I have had a lovely Mother's Day!! My kids created a great book, If You Give a Mom a Cookie... It is so cute and my daughter took all the photos herself with her digital camera! My sweet husband barted a turkey dinner for a Sirius Satelite Radio for me and then used his poker winnings to buy me a year long subscription!!!! There were also lots of other little goodies...my favoite shampoo, aloe socks (sounds crazy but I can't wait to try them out!) and Mint Milano cookies (chocolate and mint together in a cookie), it just doesn't get better than that!!!!
We are having a lovely day here so we are going to do some outside jobs and get my van washed!
Enjoy your day!
