July Paper Pumpkin

I was so excited to get my July Paper Pumpkin Kit on Friday! I made myself wait until Fun Friday and opened it with the folks that were here. It is a very cute stamp set and project kit! The kit is called Thanks a Latte and has three greeting stamps, a coffee/tea cup and two plant stamps that are two step stamping!
The card is so sweet as designed by the artists at Stampin' Up! but fun to play around with as well.

I also looked around on YouTube using a search July Paper Pumpkin 2015 and found a few folks who had changed it up a little. Hawaii Paper Party shared the idea of creating a border around an extra piece of card stock using the negative space from around the orange stickers.

You can see that in the card on the left. I also used a small piece of Crushed Curry card stock.

The card to the right I created by cutting one of the DSP pieces from the kit in half vertically, I originally stamped the cup and teabag string right on the Whisper White but felt in needed a bit of color so I stamped it on a scrap of Soft Sky, cut it out and added it with dimensionals. I added one of the clips with ribbon from the kit.

One tip I have for you is that you should use a block a bit bigger than the image and if you are using the block that came with your first Paper Pumpkin Kit you should be fine. I was trying to use block A and it was hard to line up as I was looking through the edge part of the block. A block at least a little bigger allows you to more easily line up the two step images.

Yesterday I got my winter and spring classes scheduled all the way through the end of April. Be sure to check out the classes and get those dates on your calendar! 2015 Coaster Calendar

Come create a standing desk top calendar using two chipboard coasters, cardstock, Designer Series Paper and washi tape. I purchased the pattern for this cute calendar from a fellow demonstrator and would love to share it with you. The class fee includes a package of Designer Series Paper and a package of washi tape. You will have enough supplies left over to create another calendar or other projects.

All About Guys @ Cameron's

Perpetual Birthday Calendar

You have probably seen the calendars that have the dates of the month as a list and you can add a person's name next to their birthdate. Since it is simply a list of dates, it can be used over again each year. Stampin' Up! created a beautiful kit for making just such a calendar. This class fee includes your calendar kit and I will provide the stamps and ink for you to complete the project.

Best Day Ever Note cards @ Cameron's

We will use the wonderful note cards with envelopes from the annual catalog and several of the Sale-A-Bration products from the Best Ever ensemble to create a set of note cards. The class fee includes an entire package of the note cards and you can use the rest to create whatever notes you like.

Stamp-A-Stack Card Class

I love offering this type of class because you get to choose which cards you make and how many of each one you want! You will make a total of 12 cards from the 6 designs I have prepared. You can do 2 of each or up to 3 of any single design! Since my next card class is not until after Easter, there will be one Easter card as part of the 6 designs.

Birthday Cards @ Cameron's

Time to make the birthday cards you can send to friends and family! We will create 5 awesome cards focusing on kids and ladies (we focused on the guys in January). I bet Leslie and Paul will have some yummy wine for us to sample while we work!

Spring Occasions Card Class

Spring brings so many fun occasions including graduations, weddings and days to honor our parents. At this 10 card class, you will create cards for all those and more! These cards will be designed so that you can substitute a different greeting to fit the occasions you have coming up in your life.

Class to go and other stuff

Okay, second post today because I could not figure out how to continue post with different format after pasting deals into other post.

I have decided to do the Black and White Class as a class to go. The cost for the Black and White Class to go is $30 and includes supply list, illustrations, brief directions and all card stock and Designer Series Paper that you need. It also includes Priority Mail shipping. You will have to provide the stamp set (I legally can't provide stamped images), ink, your own trimmer(to cut DSP), scissors and adhesive. If you are close enough to pick this up then I will include a $5 gift certificate good for future product purchase or class registration.

This class has been very popular. Let me know if you want to make these 6 elegant cards for yourself!

The weather seems to be cooperating so Fun Friday looks to be a go at this point. Stop by the screen house for some crafting fun from 3-6pm. Last week we played with bleach and a fall stamp set. The results were quite lovely! I tried to take a picture of the bleach card and post but my camera and computer appear to not be on speaking terms! I will try to figure it out but not right now. The week before we played with marbles and created this fun card.

Stop by this week and see what we have happening and you just might get to preview some of the goodies I have for the yard sale! Yes, you can buy them early!

This Saturday, September 13th is our neighborhood yard sale. It actually involves two streets and many families. You should definitely check it out!! I will have more things that I have cleaned out of my stamp room...need to make room for so many fabulous new products! I know there will be Designer Series Paper (25 cents per sheet), spools of ribbon(many brand new) and lots of other goodies too! I think we are starting at 8am and going until noon.

I am getting very excited for Pink Pint Night! Next Thursday, September 18th I will be at Pink Pint Night which is being held at the Keene Marriot Hotel from 5:30 to 8:30. I will have a quick Make N Take project and will hopefully find people that want to be on my mailing list, book a workshop and register for upcoming classes! I will have a basket of goodies for those that do book a workshop or register for a class.

Happy Tuesday! The air here in New Hampshire has certainly felt more like fall than summer the past two days. Cool and dry days with chilly nights...perfect for snuggling under the comforter with the windows open. I have slept better the past two nights than I have in quite awhile.
